Microblading

What is Microblading? Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup, where through a manual process of inserting pigment into the upper layers of the skin, we create the desired fullness and design of the eyebrows. The results are water proof, smudge-proof, and realistic looking. Microblading lasts roughly 18 months, after which the pigment fades leaving your skin and natural brows.

Is it Painful? Most clients experience some discomfort during the procedure, but a topical anesthetic is applied before and during the procedure.

How long does it last? Microblading can last anywhere from 1-2 years for most clients. Lots of factors go into how quickly your microblading will fade including skin type, age, lifestyle, and product usage.

How long does it take? Microblading is done in 2 sessions to ensure you love your new brows. The initial session takes between 1 and 2 hours from start to finish. This includes time for numbing and pre-drawing the brows to your desired shape and fullness. You will return 6-8 weeks later for a complimentary enhancement session.  Enhancement sessions generally take between 45 - 60 minutes.

How long is the healing process? Most clients experience a healing time of 10 -14 days. You can view the Post Procedure Care Download below for a more detailed look at the healing process.

How is microblading different from traditional permanent makeup? Microblading only enters the top layers of the skin, or the epidermis, where traditional SPMU penetrates into the dermis, creating brows that can take 5-10 years to fade (or never fade completely). Microblading is also done with a manual tool, not a machine, so your technician has much more control over each stroke and is able to create individual hairs rather than block coloring. This creates an extremely realistic look.

Does microblading remove the natural hairs? No, we will work around your natural hairs. Any hairs that are removed  during the process are shaved gently with a brow razor and are outside of the desired shape.
